What can I put in my skip?

You can put most things in a skip, such as wood, plastic, garden waste, metal, furniture, textiles, glass, rubble and white goods. Things that can’t go in a skip are asbestos, gas cylinders, animal waste, explosives, batteries, oil of any kind, chemicals, paint, glue, televisions, laptops, phones, electrical equipment, lighting and tyres. If you need any help or advice with disposing of these items, please give us a call.

How long can I hire my skip for?

You can hire a skip for however long you require. Our minimum hire time is typically 1 day, and our maximum is typically 1 month. We may be able to provide long term skip hire depending on availability, please give us a call.

Is waste disposal included with the skip hire?

Yes, everything is included in your skip hire, drop off, collection and disposal.

What happens to the waste in my skip?

Your waste will be dispossed of accordingly. Anything that can be recycled will be, and anything that can’t will be put to landfill.

How much can I fill my skip?

You can fill your skip level with the front, back and sides. We ask that you don’t fill it above these levels, as this can be unsafe for transport.

What sizes of skips do you have?

We have various sizes available, from 2 yard up to 40 yard. Please see our skip sizes page for more information and a visual guide.

Will I need a permit?

Depending on where your skip is going and for how long, you might need a permit. If in doubt, or you need help with this, please give us a call and we’ll be happy to help.
